Key Responsibilities:

-Play a key role in the development and refinement of the Equity funds investment strategy and leveraging opportunities to enhance fund performance

-Ensure effective management of the investment function including development and execution of investment guidelines, strategies and processes

-Provide appropriate portfolio management strategies to the Investment Committee

-Monitor portfolio performance, asset allocation of funds in conjunction with the risk & compliance framework

-Ensuring efficient management and execution of transactions for equity funds and being abreast of all necessary information which aid in taking timely investment decisions

-Maintain close liaison with relevant stakeholders and management of investee companies in order to keep abreast of all the changes and developments

-Ensure policy & procures are kept updated

-Ensure meticulous compliance to all regulatory requirements

Required Competencies to successfully perform:

-Proven track record of managing investment portfolios

-In depth knowledge of Financial Markets & its regulatory framework

-Excellent quantitative, analytical, report writing, and presentation skills

-Excellent communication and teamwork skills

-Strong negotiation, influencing and facilitation skills.

Required Education & Experience:

-Preferably Masters from a recognized university

-CFA qualified (highly desirable)

-8-12 years of relevant experience
